Dana authored a paper on jurisdictional issues between Alberta and British Columbia, presented when she was Co-Chair of the Insurance and Personal Injury Panel for the Alberta Law Conference.
Dana is from Saskatchewan, but lived throughout the United States in her youth, as her father is a former National Hockey League player. In 2017, the Hockey News chose Dana’s father (Jim) as the 30th Best New York Ranger of All Time. She enjoys yoga, golf, fitness and cheering for her favourite hockey team in her spare time, and volunteers with Level’s Indigenous Youth Outreach Program (Leadership).
