Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Izaak completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Regina before attending the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. During his time as a law student, Izaak worked at a leading full-service Saskatchewan law firm, which provided him with valuable experience in diverse areas of the law. Izaak earned a number of academic awards and scholarships throughout law school, and graduated With Distinction in 2016.
Izaak joined Rodin Law Firm as a Student-at-Law in 2016, and completed his articles under the mentorship of Greg Rodin, Q.C. Izaak has practiced exclusively in the area of personal injury law since being called to the Alberta Bar in July 2017, and has assisted numerous clients throughout all aspects of the litigation process – from initial consultation to final resolution at trial.
Izaak is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association. He enjoys the outdoors, and tries to spend as much of his free time as possible in the mountains. Izaak is an avid skier, and also enjoys hiking, cycling, rock climbing, and camping.
